1. Consultant to the Construction Industry specialising in providing commercial and legal advice to Employers, Contractors and Subcontractors regarding contractual difficulties, disputes, claims and final accounts etc.
2. Consultant Quantity Surveying services to Employers, Contractors and Subcontractors.
3. Assisting Solicitors by giving advice with regard to construction related disputes, litigation, arbitration and adjudication matters.
4. Preparation of expert reports and acting as Expert Witness in matters of construction litigation, arbitration and ADR.
5. Preparation and negotiation of final accounts, applications for extensions of time, reimbursement of loss and expense etc., for Main Contractors and Subcontractors.
6. Adjudication - registered as an accredited Adjudicator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Architectural and Surveying Institute and Confederation of Construction Specialists.
7. Prosecution and defence of matters referred to adjudication.

Employed by Main Contractors from 1956 to 1989, resigning from the position of Chief Surveyor to join BRM Project Management in 1989 as Consultant Quantity Surveyor responsible for all legal and contractual references.
