Quantity Surveyor and Construction Cost Consultant

1. Consultant to the construction industry specialising in providing commercial and legal advice to Employers, Contractors and Sub-Contractors regarding contractual difficulties, disputes and final accounts etc.
2. Consultant Quantity Surveying services to Employers, Contractors and Sub-Contractors.
3. Assisting legal professionals with regard to construction related disputes, litigation, arbitration and adjudication matters.
4. Preparation of expert reports and acting as expert witness in matters of construction litigation, arbitration and ADR.
5. Preparation and negotiation of final accounts, applications for extensions of time, reimbursement of loss and expense etc., for Main Contractors and Subcontractors.
6. Property management.

Employed by Main Contractors from 1964 to 1984 and then practised as a Consultant Quantity Surveyor from 1984 to 1986.
Formed BRM Project Management in August 1986 and joined the Board of Epsompace Limited (Building Contractors).
Formed BRM Wetherby Limited, a property investment company, in 1998. Board Member of Abbots Court (Croydon) Management Limited 2000-06 (responsible for maintenance of residential property of 27 flats).
